OOTD: Magic

I’ve been on Polyvore for three years now and I am a quite active member, which means that I occassionaly have creative pauses where nothing fits together to me … But thanfully, that always passes and I manage to create something new and beautiful! I LOVE this outfit. I know I could have added an element or two more, to make it more interesting, but I think everything suits nicely. The top is just great! I love how the two sleeves of the top blend into one – the crossover is such a smart move. The neckline is great on its own, but it also allows you to add a necklace. The shape of that skirt is to kill for. It doesn’t reveal too much, there’s just enough of leg game going on 😛 And if it didn’t have the v cut, it would probably be boring.
My favorite thing about these shoes is the little belt. It will sound ridiculous, but little additions like that make the outfit look so much wealthier. The hat takes away from the elegance a bit, but if you don’t want to use it, you can easily ignore it.

Playing with styling: When the blue softens the outfit

Hi guys! My favorite kind of styling is matching the colour black with something softer. When people think of black, they sadly often associate it with sadness and rougness. But that colour is so much more! It’s badass and it can be gentle, too if you use it next to the colours that suit it.

celozaslonski-zajem-15-01-2017-114813-bmpI created this outfit on my Polyvore account just a couple of days ago and I imeddiately started plotting the ways to include it on this blog 😀
The blouse is my absolutely favorite item of this outfit! IT COSTS 3€! LITERALLY. I think that’s crazy, because it looks so feminine, expensive and original. The skirt is great, too – the high waist completes the blouse beautifuly. These two items on their own seem quite rough, that’s why I decided to add a gentle, blue coat. I love this particular shade of the blue and I think it’s perfect for styling with the black colour! The heels aren’t my favorite, I think I could find better shoes to complete the outfit, but the colour blue bought me over, so I didn’t overthink it.

I love this second set even more! There’s so much going on – the girly and the rock style interfere with each other constantly, which looks so fun. The skirt is badass as hell, I love its shape and its material. These particular shoes can be tricky when styling with skirts and only certain women can pull the combination off, but I had to use them! The little belts on the upper part of the shoes are such a beautiful addition. The top, on the other hand, is very girly. Both the lace and the colour are pure and simple. The coat is girly, as well. I wouldn’t think it’d suit the badass skirt. I normally use equally badass and “rough” items with each other, but this time, when I experimented, I wasn’t disappointed. I think it’s almost weird just how well these items work together! It’s one of my favorite sets that I’ve created, ever.

What do you think of these two outfits? Which one do you prefer? Let me know in the comments! Also, if you have any wishes what kind of combinations should I style next, don’t hesitate to talk to me about them.

Red carpet: People’s choice 2017 – Review

I have to say that I prefer the Oscars, Grammys, Golden Globes and such awards over People’s choice/Teen choice awards anytime. This red carpet didn’t include many looks that I would ABSOLUTELY love, because many celebrities didn’t care about the glam that much … Anyway, let’s start!

Priyanka Chopra looked absolutely lovely! I would definitely get rid of those fringes, they take away from the elegancy. But otherwise, I love the colour and the shape of the dress. I think it suits her beautifully.

rs_634x1024-170118173155-634-azie-tesfai-peoples-choice-awards-los-angeles-kg-011817It looks like the pink might be the hot colour of 2017, because Azie Tesfai also ROCKED the colour on the red carpet. Her body figure is off the hook and the dress only pointed out the best about it! I love all of the details. I especially love how simple it is, but it still has a lot going on.

Jamie Chung‘s look in 2016 had some potential (left), but she fully evolved at this year’s red carpet! I love everything about her dress. I love how girly it is, I love the details (because that’s clearly her style and I am glad she is faithful to it), the colour, the little cut for the leg … It’s a babe look!

I can’t say Jennifer Lopez‘s look was it for me, sadly. She is a GORGEOUS woman, but that diamond upper part looks like a bib, because of the clumsy construction. I appreaciate the fact that she tried to be glamurous, but it didn’t work for me personally.

These two looks are even clumsier for me … Cameron Bure (left) looked like she wore some pjs to the red carpet … And Caroline D’Amore (right) did a mistake with the coat. The overall could have been a nice idea if she hadn’t overdone it.

Back to the looks that I liked! These two Grey’s Anatomy ladies are SUCH babes! Caterina Scorsone (left) wore a simple dress that is a part of her style (because she often wears the rose detail), but she brought it to the red carpet level. I LOVE the fact that the heels are red, because it’s a huge addition to the look. I have to admit that I usually don’t like Kelly Mccreary‘s (right) outfits, because I tink she dresses too old fashioned for her young age … But this time, she looked absolutely modern and gorgeous! I love the hair and make up styling and I also love the outfit.

I’d like to finish the red carpet picks up with a look that might be my favorite one by Christine Ko. Her hair is styled beautifuly and the dress is so nice! I love the material, the colour, the shape … Everything fits. She didn’t put much effort into the look, but SHE is wearing IT and that’s the reason it looks that well.

3000I haven’t seen the awards yet, but I’d just like to say that I am SO glad my favorite male singer won two times. Justin Tumberlake is so incredibly talented and I have a crazy amount of love and respect for him, so I think he deserved it for sure!

I almost shed a tear when I noticed that Mr. Robot and Rami Malek didn’t won a single award … I’ll live, I promise … But I think it’s unfair!

Well, guys, I think that’s enough. What was your favorite outfit? Let me know in the comments!

I’ve been looking at my Polyvore profile and wondering what am I going to post next, when I noticed that I haven’t shown off this particular outfit yet and I was mortified by my own self, because I love it so much, it deserves to be featured here! 🙂
BIG GUNS + Thank you for 62K!!
The reason why I love this outfit so much is simple: it’s not necessarily THE outfit I’d pick in a store and wear for the rest of my life. It’s also not necessarily my style. However … I love an outfit that kicks ass. Those trousers are made out of very complicated material: it’s truly hard to construct, but they look fabulous nonetheless. They shine beautifuly and they look comfortable, too. I’m so annoyed of skinny jeans that trap my legs for hours! The top is great, too. It doesn’t have a lot of elements, but the colour and the cleveage are so beautiful that the top doesn’t need anything else. It almost has that 80s kind of vibe. Next on, the heels … I love the shiny black, they bring the elegance to another level, but they are also the material for dancing if you can move well in high heels! The one thing that this outfit is missing is a pair of bomb earrings and then you’re ready to go. If it’s cold, bring a jacket with yourself, too. I think a black jacket would work best with these trousers, but anything you’d like to pick works.

Red carpet: Golden Globes 2017 – Review

Hi guys! Today is a GREAT day, because the first thing I did when I woke up in the morning was check the list of the winners of Golden Globes and the second thing I did was search for the red carpet pictures … I don’t know why, but I love doing that! 😀

Therefore I’ve decided to publish a post of best dressed celebrities of the night. Ready?

Blake Lively and Ryan Reylonds are obviously one of the HOTTEST celebrity couples, they slay every-single-red-carpet-EVER. I have to be a bit selfish and only post pictures of Blake this time, though … That dress is gorgeous. I mostly remember her rocking brighter colours, but this black pick shows she can rock anything.

Lily Collins looked like a princess … Her hair stylist knows her face, you can tell, because (s)he chose a hairstyle that truly flatters her. The dress is absolutely gorgeous, too! I’m a bit bothered by that line by the end of the dress, it looks almost sloppy, but otherwise I love the look.

I can’t say I’d want to own the dress that Drew Barrymore wore, because I don’t think it would flatter me, but it fits her perfectly. It seems really fun, with the details, the lines, the flowing of white and purple … It’s simple, but also original and she made it work.

It’s time for something darker again, like Mandy Moore‘s look. I can’t say this outfit is much original, because we’ve seen other celebrity women working shapes like that (example: Emilia Clarke – Golden Globes 2016). However, it’s really pretty. I like how beautifuly it fits her and I feel like she truly felt confident in this, which is the point of wearing pretty clothes 🙂

Brie Larson was rocking the red colour! I am honestly not obsessed about the upper part of this dress (I think it looks too much … Prom material?), but I think she is a beauty and I like the fact that she didn’t overdo the look. Her hair styling reminds me of styling that 80s beauties used to rock.

Lola Kirke (left) looked beautiful, too. I feel like not everyone can look good in girly dresses like this one … That’s why I give her special credit. I also like the fact that the details on the upper part of the dress casually blended into the lower part and I am also glad they didn’t continue to the end of the dress. That’s smart! The second beauty in pink (right) is Crishell Stause. I love the shape of the dress, it’s so original, playful and awesome. The bright smile on Chrishell’s face reminds me of Naya Rivera. She looks absolutely stunning altogether.

I’m also VERY glad that one of my favorite celebrity couples popped up – Hilarie Burton and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. I LOVE her in One Tree Hill and I love him in Grey’s Anatomy (and in his latest work – The Walking Dead). I think they’re the coolest people ever, honestly …

I also loved seeing Rami Malek and Christian Slater. I am really sad that Rami didn’t win an award for Mr. Robot … He is currently one of the most humble and most talented actors in the industry. He would have deserved it.

On the other hand … Tom Hiddleston DID WIN! And I am very glad and happy for him. I think he is just as talented and humble as Rami.

Well, that’s more or less it … I saw a lot of outfits from the after party as well and I would LOVE to include those (because they were BADASS), but I better end this before I get to … 700 words! 😛

Congrats go to everyone who won an award and may I say that everyone looked stunning – even if I didn’t include them in this post. I just have to pick outfits that I personally love most 🙂

Till next time!

Playing with styling: Green World

Hi guys! I promised you to be more active 2 weeks ago and that promise fell short, didn’t it?! My holiday break turned out to be very nicely busy … I had a birthday and I visitied some places, so I didn’t have any time for the blog.

Anyway … HAPPY 2017! May it be a good one. And here’s to my first fashion post of 2017!

celozaslonski-zajem-8-01-2017-163417-bmpThe main reason as to why I love this first set is that you can’t really define its style. The skirt and the top look incredibly fancy … That bow on the top is so cute and girly. I’d use the top for family gatherings and occassions like that. The jacket, on the other hand, is nothing like that. It seems more casual, yet it’s not boring or “lazy”. The entire combination seems fun to me. It’s almost a bit weird, unusual … But I think every personal style should be unusual, because that makes it original and cool. The heel is great, too. The colour matches the casual jacket, yet the formal sense matches the top and the skirt.

celozaslonski-zajem-8-01-2017-163347-bmpHere’s another playful green combination. This seems less formal – sure, the top could be used for fancy occassions, but it’s diversed enough to be used in anykind of style that we want. I think the pants are awesome! I personally don’t own any similiar ones, but I’d like to get them one day. I think they look great on “fuller” girls (that is – girls with hips, a booty and great legs). They fit that kind of a figure perfectly. The jacket is so badass, wouldn’t you say so? I love all of these little details that works SO well together … Whoever construsted this is a genius. The shoes are a bit difficult, because they don’t flatter everyone. Sometimes – they look a bit uncomfortable. However, I thought they’d be a perfect addition to the rest of the clothing.

All in all, I love these two sets. I love the playful sense of them. They seem comfortable, yet sophisticated enough to not be boring or lazy.

What do you think of these two sets, which one do you like better and why? What’s your favorite item? Let me know in the comments! KISSES!
